Cambodian Prime Minister said that they are defending sovereignty and territorial integrity in accordance with the ceasefire agreement.

On the evening of January 10th local time, Cambodian Prime Minister Hun Sen delivered a televised speech. Hun Sen stated that Cambodia is implementing all means, especially diplomatic and legal avenues, to defend Cambodia's sovereignty and territorial integrity and resolve border conflicts in accordance with the ceasefire agreement signed on October 26 and December 27, 2025. At the same time, the Cambodian government is mobilizing all forces and resources to address the living problems of people affected by the conflict, assisting refugees to return home. Hun Sen said that Cambodia is working to quickly address the issue of landmines and unexploded ordnance, and has established a special task force to coordinate the reconstruction of homes. Hun Sen also expressed gratitude for the material and financial assistance provided by China, the Asian Development Bank, and other friendly countries and organizations.
