Hengrui Medicine (600276.SH) announced that its subsidiary Suzhou Shengdiya Biopharmaceutical Co., Ltd. has received notification from the National Medical Products Administration. The company's injectable Rukang Qutozumab has been approved for its third indication, becoming the first anti-HER2 product approved for the treatment of colorectal cancer in China. Approved indication: for adult patients with HER2-positive colorectal cancer whose treatment with oxaliplatin, fluorouracil, and irinotecan has failed.

The approved indication is for adult patients with HER2-positive colorectal cancer who have failed treatment with oxaliplatin, fluorouracil, and irinotecan. The company's injection of Trastuzumab has already been approved in China for two indications: for the treatment of adult patients with unresectable locally advanced or metastatic non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) with HER2 (ERBB2) activating mutations who have previously received at least one systemic therapy; and for the treatment of adult patients with locally advanced or metastatic HER2-positive breast cancer who have previously received one or more anti-HER2 therapies.
