Pinduoduo (PANW.US) fell by 4.2% in pre-market trading.
Before the market opened on Thursday, Palo Alto Networks (PANW.US) saw a drop of 4.2%. According to reports, the China Cybersecurity Review Office announced on Thursday that it would implement a cybersecurity review on the products sold by Palo Alto Networks in China. Data shows that Palo Alto Networks has multiple offices in China, including in Beijing, Shenzhen, Shanghai, and Guangzhou. TD Cowen analysts noted earlier this year that Palo Alto Networks, along with its peers Check Point Software (CHKP.US) and Fortinet, Inc. (FTNT.US), do not have significant operations in China, with the Chinese market accounting for only 1%-2% of each company's total revenue. According to data from Fortune Business Insights, the U.S. cybersecurity market is expected to reach $81.61 billion by the end of this year. However, from 2026 to 2034, the Asia-Pacific market is anticipated to record the highest growth globally, with Chinas market size expected to reach $13.03 billion by 2026. Therefore, the Asia-Pacific region remains an important source of revenue for leading U.S. cybersecurity firms. As of the time of publication, Palo Alto Networks was down 1.76% before the market opened, Check Point Software was down 0.28%, and Fortinet, Inc. was down 0.94%.
