GF SEC Highlights Taipei Computer Exhibition 2026: Agent AI Ignites the Entire Industry Chain, Four Chip Giants Compete in the New Intelligent Body Race.
Guangfa Securities stated that Nvidia, Qualcomm, Intel, and Microwell Technology released positive news at the Taipei Computer Show.
With the progress of the 2026 Taipei International Computer Exhibition, GF SEC stated that they have heard some positive news from some semiconductor industry giants, including NVIDIA Corporation (NVDA.US), Qualcomm (QCOM.US), Intel Corporation (INTC.US), and Marvell Technology, Inc. (MRVL.US). GF SEC analyst Jeff Pu stated that for NVIDIA Corporation, the highlight is the PC-oriented RTX Spark super chip, but there are other positive factors as well.
In a report to clients, Pu wrote, "NVIDIA Corporation emphasizes that the Vera GPU is designed for intelligent agent artificial intelligence, aimed at solving the bottleneck problem of CPU in the intelligent agent AI era. Vera has 88 Olympus cores, 1.5TB LPDDR5X memory, 1.2TB/s memory bandwidth, and 3.4TB/s inter-core bandwidth. According to NVIDIA Corporation, its single-core bandwidth is three times higher than the x86 architecture, and intelligent agent sandbox performance is 1.8 times higher."
Furthermore, Pu stated that he believes the standalone Vera CPU will bring in $20 billion in revenue for NVIDIA Corporation (the company is currently in full production of its Vera Rubin product line), and when Vera Rubin NVL72 starts ramping up production in October, the adoption rate of GPUs in hyperscale data centers should increase.
Intel Corporation
Pu stated that the company has emphasized to partners, investors, and industry observers that the company is engineer-led, and its 18A manufacturing process is now in mass production.
Pu explained, "Management emphasizes that intelligent agent AI is driving CPU demand, restoring the strategic position of x86. The company has also introduced a rack-level blueprint to support intelligent agent AI, demonstrating a more efficient decoupled inference architecture developed in collaboration with SambaNova and NVIDIA Corporation, and expanding its custom chip business through partnerships with Foxconn, Alphabet Inc. Class C, and Telefonaktiebolaget LM Ericsson Sponsored ADR Class B."
During the event, Intel Corporation CEO Liwu Chen reiterated that the company has been in talks with several external partners to join their foundry, but no announcements have been made yet. However, he also added that if Intel Corporation raises its capital expenditure expectations, it means they have won customers.
The company made several announcements at the event, including a new chip-to-rack-level AI solution. There are also reports that Intel Corporation plans to launch a new AI data center chip by the end of the year.
Qualcomm
Pu pointed out that Qualcomm CEO Cristiano Amon stated at the event that 2026 is the year of agents. Pu wrote, "The company expects the global consumption of metaphors to increase from 32 billion every 10 seconds in 2026 to 1.27 trillion in 2030, an increase of about 40 times. This shift is expected to reshape computing architecture, with CPUs no longer limited to system management but responsible for task scheduling; GPUs and NPUs will handle AI models, inference, and content generation. In addition, devices will increasingly become platforms for perceiving and executing AI agents, benefiting not only from persistent context awareness and long-context understanding (which we anticipate will reduce memory requirements), but also from seamless connectivity between cloud, edge, and local devices."
Marvell Technology, Inc.
Pu stated that Marvell Technology, Inc. emphasized its positioning as an end-to-end AI connectivity platform rather than just a semiconductor supplier at the Taipei International Computer Exhibition. (The company launched the Teralynx T100 Ethernet switch, Ara series 1.6T DSP, and COLORZ 1600 products at the exhibition.)
Pu explained, "In conclusion, the release of these products strengthens Marvell Technology, Inc.'s construction of a complete connectivity stack covering switches, optical components, and interconnect infrastructure to achieve ambitious AI expansion."
Furthermore, NVIDIA Corporation CEO Jensen Huang stated that he believes Marvell Technology, Inc. has the potential to become the "next trillion-dollar company," Pu said this may indicate a deeper cooperation between the two companies.
Pu soared, "We believe that NVLink Fusion is an important long-term choice for Marvell Technology, Inc., but its commercialization path may depend on whether hyperscale data center operators are willing to adopt NVIDIA Corporation's interconnect architecture in their custom AI chip roadmap. We still have high hopes for Marvell Technology, Inc. The main reason we are positive about Marvell Technology, Inc., apart from NVIDIA Corporation's optional solution, is its market position in the custom AI chip and connectivity fields."
